This was the CO-OP department store on the north corner of London Road and Stubbington Avenue in North End. I took these photos in November 1975. (The one with the bus is for bus fans). The store also housed Melanies hairdressers. Unfortunately it burnt down in the early 80's.
Further north, on the next corner was McIlroys department store which is now a Tesco Express with flats above.
