Interesting photo - I think the Jet garage (on the corner of New Road East) was demolished for houses about 20 years ago. I hope it's ok to post a StreetView link to the location now:
Sunny rays shine down through fluffy white clouds upon a little high street where roadworks are taking place on the corner. Shops along the right side include the Bridge Florist, Copperfield Antiques and Jet Garage.
