FRATTON BRIDGE 1905 The narrowness of Fratton road is clearly shown by the interlacing tram lines. The building on the left is the Fratton Hotel, later to become a bank, which was destroyed during the Second World War.

Thin and interlacing tram lines run cut into a slightly winding narrow road which streaks down the centre of the frame. Many people are out and about walking along either side of the street, a bridge can be partially seen on the near right.
