Southsea Youth and Community centre, St Pauls Sq

Taken some time between 1963 and 1975.

Photo by Martin Hulbert, reproduced with kind permission.

A big thank you to all the Facebook group members who identified the location to be St Pauls Square. And many thanks to Alan Newman for narrowing it down further to be on the corner of King Street and Astley Street off St Pauls Square. I've attached a screenshot from google street view of an old image showing the community centre before it was demolished and rebuilt into a block of flats.
Location
St Pauls Square, King Street, Astley Street, Portsmouth
Street view image Screen shot taken from google street view - one particular angle comes up with an older image of the community centre before it was demolished! Now a block of flats.

An older lady in a brown fur coat is standing in the entrance of a community building. The building is modern with a grid of glass windows fronting its two floors and flat brick roof. The sign above the door reads: City of Portsmouth education committee. Southsea Youth and Community Centre.
