St. Agatha's school was located at the North end of Sussex Road, and the West side of Frederick Street in Landport.
"The Bell School" was built in 1812 as a National School, and enlarged in 1846. The Infant school was opened in 1853. In 1889 extensive repairs were undertaken under the guidance of Father Dolling. The Girls school was in Frederick Street, and the Boys school in Clarence Street, part of which remains today (see picture).
In c1828 the schools were renamed All Saints National School, and in 1889 they became St Agatha's C of E School. The school was bombed and closed in 1941.
