The Old Dock Mill was built in 1817, it was last driven by wind in 1905 when it switched to being driven by engine, and was later demolished in 1923.

Shows the previous pond and fountain outside which was removed and replaced in 2017-2018 with a new water feature consisting of 30 water jets with coloured base lamps.

This photograph was found in the fantastic Vancouver Archive. I believe it was taken in Portsmouth circa 1903, somewhere near Western Parade on what is now Duisburg Way. Rough estimate of location on Google Maps.
I would be interested in finding any information about Letty or her aunt Lizzie...
